Diesel Coffee Works was formed by local Hamilton café operators who just love good coffee. When the owner of a specialist diesel workshop saw the benefit of collaborating with other industries, the outcome was not what was expected, but one that has proven successful. Little did he know, that soon his team of diesel mechanics would be demanding barista quality Diesel coffee every smoko and nothing less.

After a year of roasting, cupping, more roasting, more cupping and a couple of caffeine overloads, Diesel Coffee Works was finally ready for market.

Starting off without much fanfare, just great coffee, the Diesel Coffee Works movement is coming alive. Diesel Coffee is committed to small batch roasting, where quality and consistency can be maintained.

Now several years on Diesel Coffee has moved into its own dedicated warehouse space in downtown Hamilton and supplies freshly roasted coffee to a number of cafes in Hamilton and Carterton region, Hamilton International Airport and other businesses and households across the Waikato and North Island.

The Diesel blends are surprisingly delicious and easy to enjoy designed for a wide range of tastes. Now with Diesel Black and coffee pods and a growing subscription based customer list Diesel Coffee is here to stay.
